Green Island Retreat Mango Banana Smoothie Recipe

Try our quick and simple mango banana smoothie recipe for a tropical treat in the morning

Staying on top of it all is hard. Work life, home life, eating healthy, cooking meals, getting enough sleep. The list doesn’t really ever end. In fact, it’s easy to get so stressed that we forget to take care of our health.

Take a moment.

Let’s pretend we’re on a beach. We’re soaking up the sun, we’re eating fresh fruit, we feel infinitely less stressed.

Wouldn’t that be nice?

Well, it may not be an actual island retreat, our Green Island Retreat Smoothie is a fresh and healthy way to start off your morning. Loaded with tropical flavours from fresh mango, fresh banana, lime juice and coconut water, this smoothie tastes like a vacation. We also snuck in a veggie with some fresh spinach, that helps make this smoothie a beautiful vibrant green colour – but don’t worry, you really can’t taste it!

Upgraded with some power packed foods, we added Organika Organic Spirulina Powder, a great source of plant based protein, iron and antioxidants. We also used some Organika Organic Gelatinized Maca Powder, to help balance our moods and our hormones. And last but not least, we added our favourite plant based protein, Vege-Pro. Organika Vege-Pro Plant Based Protein is a combination of organic hemp, organic sprouted brown rice protein, and 8 different medicinal mushrooms. It’s easily digestible, blends well and is sugar free!

This mango banana smoothie is also really quick and easy to make! And since we live such busy lives, who wouldn’t love to get back an extra few minutes in the morning?
