Organika at 2018 Scotiabank Bowl for Big Brothers Classic!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada does an amazing job, locally and nationally, supporting child and youth development. Their hard work changes and empowers young minds to be the best they can be. We are huge admirers of the work they do and wanted to support them in any way that we could.
We wanted a simple way of raising funds for their "Bowl For Big Brothers Classic." The Bowl for Big Brothers Classic is Big Brothers’ signature FUN-raising event, where thousands of people get together to enjoy a night of bowling in support of the valuable mentoring programs provided for over 1,000 children each year free of charge. There were over 1,300 event participants and 150 teams that raised pledges in support of Big Brothers’ mentoring programs for vulnerable children and celebrate with an exciting evening of bowling and activities. The CSR team wanted to participate so we pitched together and sold samosas, raising funds and educating the rest of the Organika team on Big Brothers and their initiatives. We sent a team of 7 from Organika to participate in the bowling, and fun times were had all around!
We want to share a big thank you to the CSR team and, especially, Rijo for organizing this amazing event for a great cause. We had a blast bowling, and raising funds that we hope can continue to support such an amazing cause in the future. We also want to send a big thank you to Big Brothers, Big Sisters for all their amazing work – thank you for the inspiration to give back!
