In nature, bees collect materials from tree bark and leaves. They then partially digest this mix to form a resin called propolis, which is used in the maintenance of their hives. For us humans, bee propolis provides a unique source of antioxidants and relieves sore throats and other mouth and throat infections.
Organika’s Brazilian Green Bee Propolis is a giant step above other types of propolis. It is sourced from Africanized Honey Bees (Apis melifera scutelata), a species of honey bee with a unique method of collecting propolis, harvesting it from rich plant sources in unpolluted natural environments.

Brazilian bee propolis’ green colour is due to its unique chemical and antioxidant composition. Some of the active compounds found within include: Artepillin-C, an antioxidant that is believed to have extremely potent antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and anti-ulcer properties. Caffeic Acid Phenethyl Ester (CAPE), which has been shown to be partially responsible for propolis’ anti-inflammatory properties.
MEDICINAL INGREDIENT – EACH VEGETARIAN CAPSULE CONTAINS:
- Bee Propolis (Beehive of the honey bee (Apis mellifera L.)) 50 mg - each vegetarian capsule contains 50 mg of Green Propolis Extract (40%), making up 62% of the capsule.
