Our bone health can play an important role in our quality of life, especially as we age. Bones have many nutrient needs, and they work together synergistically to perform their duties. Organika’s Calcium Magnesium Zinc Vitamin D3 combines the nutrients you need for comprehensive bone support in a single product.  


Calcium is the most abundant mineral found in the human body; most of which is housed in our bones and teeth. It is also required in proper muscle contractions, nerve transmissions, and blood clotting. 


The mineral magnesium is primarily found in our cells. Over 300 reactions in the cell require magnesium to occur. Relaxation of muscles and regulation of the nervous system are other important roles. In bone health, magnesium helps to regulate calcium and activate vitamin D. 


Zinc also has many roles in our body, including in the production of hydrochloric acid in our stomachs. This is required for the proper absorption of minerals, including calcium and magnesium. Zinc also plays important roles in immune function and reproductive health. 


Vitamin D is known as the sunshine vitamin, as it is made in our skin when exposed to UVB radiation. Due to our specific geography and modern living conditions, we can easily be deficient in Vitamin D. In bone health, it is important for the metabolism of calcium, magnesium phosphorus, and zinc. Vitamin D also play important roles in our immune, mood and brain health.

How to use: 


AGE OF 19 AND OVER: Take 1 tablet once or twice

daily with meals. Take a few hours before or after taking

other medications.


CAUTIONS: Zinc supplementation can cause a copper

deficiency. Some people may experience diarrhea.

Q: Don’t I get enough calcium from my diet?

A: You may or may not get enough calcium from your diet. Food sources include leafy greens, seaweed, sesame seeds, almonds, fish with bones, and dairy. If you are eating plenty of these, you still may not be absorbing the calcium if your stomach acid and digestion is not ideal. Ensure both your diet and digestion are optimal, and supplementation will give you some insurance for your bone health.


Q: What contributes to my bones getting weak in the first place?

A: As calcium has roles in our cardiovascular health, if we don’t have enough calcium in the bloodstream it gets pulled from our bones so our heart continues to beat. We also flush the calcium out of our bones with too much alcohol, caffeine, pop, and stress. A lack of weight-bearing exercise and not enough water can also contribute. Take a look at your overall diet and lifestyle – it can greatly affect your overall health.


Q: Is this Calcium Magnesium Zinc with Vitamin D3 acceptable for a vegan or vegetarian diet?

A: Vitamin D3, otherwise known as cholecalciferol, is made by the skin with UVB light exposure. That’s how we make it when we go out into the sun in the summer. For supplementation purposes, it is extracted from lanolin, the grease found in sheep’s wool. This makes vitamin D3 supplementation something one may choose to avoid on a vegetarian or vegan diet.


Q: I heard zinc supplementation can cause copper deficiency. Can you tell me more?

A: With long term, higher dose zinc supplementation, copper levels can become out of balance and deficient. If you are taking zinc continually for many months, talk to your health care provider to determine if you need to supplement with low levels of copper.


Q: You mentioned this product may cause diarrhea. Who may that happen to and what is that a signal of?

A: Some people can find magnesium oxide stimulating to their digestive system. It can be challenging for some people to absorb, so can cause flushing of the system. If this is happening to you, start by backing down to a lower dose and see if that clears it up. If not, consider switching to another form of magnesium. On the other hand, magnesium oxide can be fantastic for helping to relieve constipation, so it may be perfect for you.
