Q: Why does this product not have NPN?
A: At the time of launch, we didn't feel it was necessary to wait for NPN, however we can apply at any time if it seems necessary. There are no specific health claims that are associated to spirulina according to Health Canada monograph (Spirulina - Spirulina platensis (hc-sc.gc.ca) except Source of/Provides antioxidants. Therefore this product is actually a "food" product as opposed to a supplement.

Q: Why can’t this product be mixed into hot beverages?
A: Vitamins are not heat stable; therefore, the benefits will be reduced with heat exposure.
