At Organika, we believe in health and wellness for everyone—especially children in our community. That’s why we’re proud to support BackPack Buddies, an incredible organization that bridges the weekend gap for kids facing food insecurity. While many children rely on school meal programs during the week, weekends can mean empty plates. BackPack Buddies steps in to provide nutritious meal kits, ensuring no child goes hungry when school is out.
This fall, a team of 15-20 Organika employees rolled up their sleeves and volunteered with BackPack Buddies, helping sort and package 1,401 meal kits for children in need. Beyond our hands-on support, we also contributed $3,000 to further their mission of delivering nutrition and care to kids across Vancouver.
But the work doesn’t stop there. This month, we’ve renewed our commitment with an additional $1,500 donation to BackPack Buddies, helping them continue their vital work.
