Alleviates cough and mucus buildup
Canadian Elder (Elderberry) has been used in Herbal Medicine to promote sweating, to help relieve fever, and relieve symptoms of colds and flus such as coughs, sore throat and mucus buildup of the upper respiratory tract. It also helps maintain and support immune function and is a source of antioxidants for the maintenance of good health.
Elderberry contains bioactive compounds that may have an antiviral impact. It works to fight infections in the body, and as a result has been used in traditional medicine for centuries to treat influenza, colds and sinusitis. It works to treat coughs by fighting the infection itself.
Zinc supports many functions in the body and is well known to help the immune system.
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps to fight oxidative stress and also helps the immune system ward off infection from viruses.
