Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Sweet Onion (chopped)
1 large Carrot (chopped)
2 stalks Celery (chopped)
1 teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
1 teaspoon Pepper (or to taste)
1 teaspoon Thyme (dry)
1 teaspoon Parsley (dry)
1 teaspoon Oregano (dry)
8 cups Water
1 cup Organika Chicken Bone Broth Powder
2 pounds Chicken (with skin and bones, use at least 1 chicken breast)
2 cups short-cut pasta
How-to
Start by sautéing chopped onion with olive oil. After a few minutes add in the carrots and celery, and continue stirring. Next, add in the spices and stir well. Pour the bone broth and water into the pot, then place the chicken on top. Cover the pot and let simmer on medium/low heat for about 30 minutes. While the soup is simmering, add in your short-cut pasta during the last 5-8 minutes to start cooking. After 30 minutes, remove the chicken and shred. Add the shredded chicken back into the soup, and stir well. Once the pasta noodles are fully cooked, you are good to serve. Serve hot and top with any additional spices or herbs.
