Warning, this may become your favourite nice cream and you may end up making it on repeat.
The combination of chocolate and nut butter is always dreamy, however combining it into an easy churn-free nice cream adds a little something extra. The frozen cold taste of these two power-house flavours is what dessert dreams are made of. It’s perfectly nutty, chocolatey, sweet and extremely mouth-watering.
However, contrary to popular ice creams, this one is made with Chocolate Enhanced Collagen - real cocoa, collagen and 0 g sugar!

read moreI’ve been adding collagen powder to my coffee and smoothies for quite some time now, but recently I decided to take things a step further by incorporating it into my baking. As both a nutritionist and a recipe developer, I absolutely love creating dishes that don’t just taste amazing—they also offer added wellness benefits. There’s something incredibly satisfying about turning an everyday treat into something that supports your health at the same time. When I started brainstorming recipe ideas using Chocolate Enhanced Collagen, the first thing that came to mind was chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting. It felt like the perfect match. After all, if you’re already working with chocolate, why not double down on the flavour? The richer, the better! Adding collagen to a dessert may sound unexpected, but it blends effortlessly into the batter while enhancing the nutritional value. That’s a win-win in my book. These cupcakes turned out better than I could have imagined. The batter comes together quickly and easily, making them a great option for beginner bakers or anyone craving something sweet without a lot of fuss. The final result? Decadent, moist chocolate cupcakes that feel indulgent but still align with your wellness goals. To make them accessible to even more people, I kept the recipe gluten-free and dairy-free, and I used coconut sugar instead of refined sugar. You’re welcome! One of my favourite parts of this whole process was taste-testing along the way—strictly for quality control, of course. Someone has to make sure everything is delicious, right? I truly hope you enjoy these cupcakes as much as I did. Whether you're sharing them with friends, serving them at an event, or savouring one with your afternoon coffee, they’re the kind of treat that makes wellness feel fun, flavourful, and completely satisfying.

They are packed with fibre, protein, healthy fats, disease-fighting antioxidants, and my favourite energizing adaptogen, maca. Maca is a great superfood booster and its slightly earthy, butterscotch taste blends well with chocolate. In addition to providing extra vitamins and minerals, maca is recognized as a herbal "adaptogen". This means it helps the body to regulate cortisol levels and deal with stress. Maca may actually help to relieve anxiety while boosting mood, energy, concentration, and even libido. Cherry Chocolate Almond Bliss Balls EASY | SERVES 12 BALLS (More or less depending on the desired size!) Ingredients: 1 cup raw almonds 1 scoop natural protein powder OR 1/4 cup shelled hemp seeds 1-2 servings collagen peptides (omit for vegan) 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder 2 Tbsp Organika Gelatinized Maca powder 1 cup pitted Medjool dates (10-12 dates) 1 Tbsp coconut oil, melted 1 tsp pure vanilla extract A couple drops pure almond extract (optional) 1/2 cup diced dried cherries 1/4 cup raw cacao nibs Directions: Put almonds, protein powder or hemp seeds, collagen, cacao powder and maca into blender container. Blend until well-chopped. Add the dates, coconut oil, vanilla and almond extract. Blend until a uniform paste is created, scraping the sides and bottom with a rubber spatula as needed. Add the dried cherries and cacao nibs and pulse several times to mix or until desired texture is achieved (we like the nibs to provide a bit of a crunch). Scrape mixture onto a plate or parchment paper. Roll into balls. Dust with cacao powder as desired. Enjoy as-is or store in an air-tight container in the fridge for a week, or the freezer for up to 2 months. Directions: Put all of the ingredients except toppings in a bowl or divide among single-serving mason jar(s) and stir well to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for a minimum of 6 hours). In the morning, stir, add toppings and enjoy! Cherry Almond Overnight Proats can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for 4-5 days.
