Healthy Frozen Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 4 ounces high quality dark chocolate or sugar-free chocolate
- ¼ cup Chocolate Enhanced Collagen
- 1 tbsp Stevia (or sweetener of choice)
- 1 1/2 cups milk or milk alternative
- 3-4 cups Ice cubes
Whipped Topping Ingredients (optional)
- 1/3 cup coconut cream
- 1 scoop Organika Superbrew Creamer Original or Enhanced Collagen Boost
- 2 tbsp powdered monk fruit or other sweetener of your choice
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- Additional dark chocolate for shaving
How-to
- Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt in the microwave (medium power, not high), stirring every 20 seconds
- Once melted, add Chocolate Enhanced Collagen powder, sweetener, and stir until everything is well blended
- Slowly stir in the milk until smooth
- Cool to room temperature
- While cooling, make the whipped topping (optional). Combine the coconut cream, Superbrew Creamer or Enhanced Collagen Boost, sweetener and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to mix for about 2 minutes, or until it resembles a fluffy, whipped-cream consistency. Set the bowl in the refrigerator to chill.
- In a blender, add your chocolate mixture and ice - blend well
Pour into a glass, add your topping and fill your health bucket without sacrificing your cravings.
