Organika’s® Bovine Gelatin Powder is non-GMO, gluten free, dairy free, keto/paleo friendly, and sourced from grass-fed cows. Gelatin has a myriad of different uses. Use as a thickener in soups and broths, in smoothies or smoothie bowls, for homemade gummies or as a substitute to eggs in baking.

Organika’s Bovine Gelatin Powder and Enhanced Collagen Powder have the same amino-acid profile, however differ slightly because the Enhanced Collagen goes through full hydrolysis compared to the Gelatin which goes through partial hydrolysis.

 

  • Q: Why should I take Gelatin?
    • A: Raw material used for gelatin production is naturally occurring protein collagen which is commercially sourced from the meat industry from a healthy animal designated for human consumption. Most of the benefits for gelatin comes from its amino acid profile.
  • Q: How do I use Gelatin?
    • A: Soups & Broths (thickener), gummy bears & jellies, baked goods, smoothie, pancakes and pastries, egg substitute in baking recipes to replace eggs, such as pizza crust, and pancakes.
  • Q: Can I refrigerate Gelatin powder?
    • A: Gelatin in dry powder form has an indefinite shelf life when stored in dry, well-ventilated environment. Gelatin contains hydrophilic and hygroscopic properties. It can seek water and absorb it. Prolonged heat and moisture will degrade gelatin if stored improperly.
