Sodium: Important for nerve impulses, muscle contraction and maintaining the proper balance of water and minerals in and around your cells (blood volume).

Potassium: Supports muscle contractions and nerve signals, significant role in cell communication.

Magnesium: Supports bone health, muscle and nerve function, helps regulate blood pressure, plays a role in tissue and muscle formation, health of the immune system, and blood sugar regulation. 

BCAAs: Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) are 3 of the essential amino acids your body needs. These ones are known to increase muscle growth, decrease muscle soreness, reduce exercise fatigue and minimize muscle wasting. 

L-Glutamine: The most abundant amino acid (building block for protein) however its need increases with intense exercise. L-Glutamine can support building muscle, decrease muscle soreness and improve recovery after intense exercise.

Enhanced Collagen™: Hydrolyzed grass-fed bovine collagen peptides, studied to support muscles, bones, joints, as well as improve the strength of hair, skin and nails. 

L-Tryptophan: An essential amino acid, and the 1 amino acid missing from collagen to make it a complete protein. L-Tryptophan on its own supports rest.

MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: EACH SERVING (6 g or APPROX. 1 SCOOP) CONTAINS: L-Glutamine 2500 mg, Hydrolyzed Collagen (Bovine Skin / Hide) 600 mg, L-Leucine 500 mg, L-Isoleucine 250 mg, L-Valine 250 mg, L-Tryptophan 100 mg, Magnesium (Magnesium Citrate) 35 mg, Potassium (Potassium Citrate) 85 mg, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) 60 mg, Calcium (Calcium Phosphate, Tribasic) 25 mg, Phosphorus (Calcium Phosphate, Tribasic) 15 mg.

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Black Currant Juice Powder, Black Currant Flavour, Stevia Leaf Extract, Beet Juice Powder, Soluble Corn Fibre.

RECOMMENDED DOSE — (ORAL) ADULTS (19 YEARS AND OLDER) ONLY: Add 1 serving (6 g or approx. 1 scoop) to 500 ml of water or beverage. Stir well. Take 1 serving 2 times per day.

Take with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.

Q: What is the role of L-Glutamine in this recovery product?
A: It helps to assist in muscle cell repair after exercise & helps restore plasma glutamine levels depleted after periods of physical stress. 

Q: What's the significance of Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) for muscle recovery in Electrolytes Recovery?
A: It’s a source of antioxidants that help fight against free radical damage to cells (the effect of oxidative damage). As we exercise, we naturally begin to produce more free radicals.  

Q: Why is there Calcium (Calcium Phosphate, Tribasic) and Phosphorus (Calcium Phosphate, Tribasic) in this product?
A: Those ingredients are the source of minerals that help support the healthy level of electrolytes. 

Q: What's the recommended usage of Electrolytes Recovery after a workout? And is it beneficial to take more after an extreme workout?
A: Regardless of the workout, it is only recommended to take what is suggested on the label. Best taken after workouts. 

Q: Could you provide insight into the choice of Black Currant Juice Powder and Beet Juice Powder in the recovery formula?
A: Those two ingredients are for natural colouring in the product 

Q: Is the Black Currant Flavour natural?
A: Yes 

Q: What role does Soluble Corn Fibre play in supporting recovery in this supplement?
A: Although it may not be much, fibre is not just specifically catered for recovery but overall everyday health.  

Q: Can I mix Electrolytes Recovery with other post-workout supplements or beverages?
A: It is not recommended to do so as there are upper limits to the supplements in this product. Please consult with a health practitioner if you decide to combine it with other products.
